NCAA championship odds: Syracuse basketball is long way from contender status

The numbers seem to support the notion that what will be on display this evening in the Carrier Dome will be a match between a championship contender … and a championship hopeful.
The former? That would be North Carolina (14-2), which is tied for first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The latter? That would be Syracuse (10-6), which sits dead last in the ACC.
